Job Description

One of the Kids is dedicated to helping families care for kids with autism — and enjoy the journey. Our kids receive one-on-one pediatric behavioral therapy (ABA, speech, and OT) at our award winning campus while enjoying a variety of developmental activities.

The Clinic Office Assistant position is available at Cedar Park location. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who can independently manage insurance follow-ups and in-office operations while maintaining a compassionate, family-centered approach in a fast-paced ABA clinic environment.

Responsibilities:
• Verify benefits, obtain authorizations, and follow up on outstanding claims with insurance providers, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution of billing issues
• Organize office and therapy supplies, reporting to the office manager when inventory is low
• Respond to therapist requests
• Provide breaks for therapists
• Assist with administration tasks
• Assist in cleaning therapy rooms and gym
• Act as a teacher’s assistant during structured group activities
• Keep learners on task
• Gather needed materials
• Assist with children's needs
• Attend and assist in teaching lessons/leading crafts and other activities

Qualifications:
• Experience with insurance and medical billing preferred
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent attendance and work ethic
• Desire to work with children
• Desire to work in the mental health or pediatric medical field
