Qualifications
Education:
• Masters degree from an accredited college or university in human services, social work, counseling or related field.
Licensure:
• Must have a valid WA State license (LSWAIC, LMHCA, LMFTA, LICSW, LMHC, LMFT or a Licensed Behavioral Analyst) or associate clinical licensure.
• Must obtain CPR, First Aid, Handle with Care, and Verbal De-Escalation certifications provided by facility upon hire.
Experience:
• Preferred two (2) years, post-Master’s experience in a psychiatric health care setting.
• Direct experience in individual and family group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment planning.
• Direct experience managing a caseload of up to 14 clients.
• Skills and experience in community relations and group presentation.
• Skills and experience in group facilitation, group adaptation, and curriculum development.

- •They work with patients in groups and 1:1 to implement active treatment and individualized treatment plans, helping patients reach their goals
- •They are also valuable members of a multidisciplinary team which allows the Inpatient Group Therapists to collaborate on treatment decisions and to help create treatment plans
