Behavior Technician School-Based | Elk Grove, CA | $22/hr | Full-Time | ProCare Therapy

ProCare Therapy is actively hiring a Behavior Technician for a full-time school-based position in Elk Grove, California. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about supporting students with behavioral, social-emotional, and developmental needs in an educational setting.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide direct behavioral support to students throughout the school day in classroom and school environments
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the direction of school staff
Support students with emotional regulation, transitions, and classroom participation
Use positive reinforcement strategies to encourage appropriate behaviors and skill development
Collect and document behavioral data and student progress as required
Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and support teams to ensure student success
Promote a structured, safe, and supportive learning environment for all students

Qualifications:

Experience working with children or adolescents in educational, behavioral, ABA, childcare, or mental health settings preferred
Ability to remain calm, patient, and professional in challenging situations
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Comfort working in fast-paced school environments
High school diploma or equivalent required
