Role Description The Registered Behavioral Health Technician (RBT) will provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism and developmental differences under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This full-time hybrid role is based in Oregon City, OR, with services delivered in the center, in clients’ homes, and with some work from home for documentation and training activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing individualized treatment plans, running structured teaching programs, collecting and recording behavioral data, and following behavior intervention plans with consistency. The RBT will support skill development in areas such as communication, self-help, social skills, and play, while managing challenging behaviors using approved strategies. The role also involves collaborating with families and the clinical team, participating in team meetings and ongoing training, and maintaining professional, ethical, and confidentiality standards.
Qualifications
• Foundation in behavior science, including skills in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis, with the ability to follow treatment and behavior intervention plans.
• Strong interpersonal and Communication skills to work effectively with children, families, and a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience or education in Behavioral Intervention and Psychology, especially in developmental or child psychology, is highly beneficial.
• Current RBT credential (or eligibility and willingness to obtain RBT certification within a defined timeframe, with support from the organization).
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, behavior analysis, or related field preferred.
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation, manage time effectively, and follow clinical and ethical guidelines.
• Physical ability to engage in active work with children, including sitting on the floor, lifting up to moderate weight, and participating in play-based activities.
• Reliable transportation to client locations in and around Oregon City, OR, and willingness to work a consistent full-time schedule.
