Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support clients' developmental goals. Collect and record accurate data on client behaviors, progress, and responses during therapy sessions to inform ongoing treatment adjustments. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, hygiene, feeding, and other self-care routines. Use evidence-based behavioral management techniques to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors. Engage children and individuals with autism in structured teaching activities that enhance communication, social skills, and adaptive functioning. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding client confidentiality and handling medical records responsibly. Collaborate with team members to develop and update care plans tailored to each client's unique needs. Document all session notes, progress reports, and medical documentation clearly and accurately in accordance with agency standards. Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates eager to learn. Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and behavior management strategies is highly desirable. Familiarity with special education practices, patient care procedures, and medical terminology will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
