Job Description

Responsibilities:
• Direct Student Care:
• Provide direct care to students, including assisting with daily activities, facilitating implementation of behavior plans, and teaching skills that will help the student communicate and function more effectively.
• Monitor and assess the mental status of students and promptly address any behavior concerns.
• Collaborate with behavior analysts, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the overall well-being of the student.
• Health Record Management:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date behavior data and other relevant information for all students.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with health information privacy laws.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with Board Certified Behavioral Analysts, and other healthcare professionals to address student needs.
• Professional Development:
• Stay informed about current healthcare trends, best practices, and regulations related to behavioral health.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Maintain required certifications
• Other Duties as Assigned
Qualifications:
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with knowledge of relevant health laws and regulations.
• Associate or Bachelor Degree in related field strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Overview: The behavioral technician plays a critical role in assisting the Board-Certified Behavioral Analysts with facilitating treatments plans that will help the patient communicate/ function more effectively
  • The position involves implementing behavior plans, assisting in restructuring environments and activities to support the students' behaviors, aid in promoting the growth, socialization, and independence of students
