• Division of Cardiovascular Diseases provides comprehensive and advanced care
• Electrophysiology program provides the spectrum of procedures, including device implantation, ablations, and lead extraction
• Part of the Cardiovascular Service Line, with close collaborations with Cardiovascular Surgery, Transplant, Vascular Surgery, Cardiac Anesthesia, and Radiology
• The Heart Center is located centrally on campus and houses state-of-the-art electrophysiology labs
Responsibilities
• Ambulatory electrophysiology practice
• Inpatient electrophysiology consultations with fellows
• Electrophysiology procedures
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows
• Participate in clinical and translational research
• Participate in extramurally funded research through several large center grants and epidemiologic cohort studies
Compensation
• Salaries are high compared to other academic medical centers and are dependent on academic and clinical effort and productivity
