Job Description
experience working with children with special needs, autism, ADHD, anxiety, and depression. We provide in-home, community, and school-based ABA therapy. Most of our client's receive ABA therapy at their homes. We have full time and part time positions available for morning, afternoon, and evening hours.
Ideal candidates are individuals working towards a bachelor’s or master's degree in behavior analysis, social work, special education, education, speech pathology, or psychology. Preferred candidates are current RBT’s interested in pursuing their BCBA certification as there will be opportunities for growth.
Required Qualifications
• 18 years of age
• High-school degree or equivalent
• Valid RBT certification with the BACB or the ability to obtain the RBT Certification (if not yet certified, the company will pay for you to get certified!)
• Pass state and federal background check
• Reliable car, proof of auto insurance, and valid Ohio driver's license
• Lift/carry up to 20 pounds
• Professional, self-motivated, and dependable
• Positive attitude and the ability to adapt to changes as needed
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Enjoy learning and having fun with the clients
• Available for an evening schedule with sessions from 4-7pm most weekdays
Responsibilities
• Under the direction of our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will provide in-home, community, or school-based ABA therapy to your assigned clients
• Maintain client dignity
• Assist clients with day-to-day activities, monitor behavior, record and collect data to monitor their progress
• Collects data and completes insurance billing notes by the deadline
• Adhere to the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) guidelines and codes of conduct
• Providing direct client care in one-on-one settings
• Following the behavior reduction and behavioral skill acquisition protocols
• Collecting and recording data based on client behavior
• Communicating with clients, parents, and caregivers regarding client progress
• Assisting behavior analysts and assistant behavior analysts with behavior reduction assessments and skills acquisition
• Assisting behavior analysts and assistant behavior analysts in the preparation of client materials
