Job Description
Working With
As a Behavior Analyst at AST, you'll be part of LEARN Behavioral—a collective group of ABA providers delivering collaborative care to communities from coast-to-coast. LEARN employs over 500 BCBAs and offers services in 18 states, with an average clinical leader tenure of 10 years. You'll have access to experienced local clinical leadership and support while working in a diverse and inclusive environment.
## What We're Looking For
We're hiring a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join us in providing high-quality, evidence-based, contemporary ABA therapy to children with autism. Our clinicians are committed to delivering individualized, person-centered care rooted in the principles of assent-based treatment. We consider parents and caregivers our partners on our mission to nurture the potential of every child in our care—setting them up for success in school and life. We also have reasonable billable expectations for our team.
You'll need a master's degree or higher and BCBA certification, or you must be expected to sit for the BCBA exam within the next three months. A minimum of two years of experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities is required. You'll also need certification, registration, and/or license as required by local statutes to deliver behavior treatment. Beyond credentials, we're looking for exceptional professional, interpersonal, and communication skills—both written and verbal. Commitment to our five core values matters: partnership, integrity, curiosity, client-centered approach, and excellence. If you have an interest in research, particularly in functional analysis, verbal behavior, feeding, and related topics, that's a real bonus.
## What You'll Be Doing
Your day-to-day will involve providing oversight and supervision for your team and clients. You'll mentor and support behavior technicians (BTs)—all of whom go through competency-based training. You'll write reports and conduct clinical reviews with funding sources, and you'll attend monthly regional meetings for ongoing training and supervision. Regular parent and caregiver trainings are part of the role, where you help family members understand and support their child's progress.
You'll treat the safety of clients and others involved in each case as a top priority. You'll consult with clients and provide continuous program direction and maintenance, analyze data and behavior to make data-based decisions, and guide the ongoing implementation of teaching procedures. It's essential that you ensure program directives from the senior clinical team are implemented accurately and timely. Throughout all of this, you'll deliver individualized, person-centered care rooted in the principles of assent-based treatment.
## What We Offer
The salary range for this position is $78,000 to $90,000 per year. Beyond base compensation, LEARN offers quarterly bonus opportunities of up to 12K total per year. Part-time and full-time positions are available.
LEARN provides comprehensive professional development support including free, on-demand CEUs through our proprietary LEARNing Lab and monthly clinical forums for live CEUs. You'll receive a yearly professional development stipend that can be used for conferences, licensure, or recertification. We support a 20-hour minimum weekly billable target, which we consider reasonable. You'll have access to support from multiple specialty teams including the Feeding Intervention Support Team, Functional Analysis Support Team, and High
- Risk Review Team. Our experienced scheduling, training, and insurance teams are here to support you.
Full-time BCBAs receive 28 days of total paid time off and comprehensive benefits including medical, vision, and dental coverage. A 401(k) with discretionary match is available starting in year one. Additional coverage includes accident benefit, short-term disability, life insurance, and AD&D insurance. We also offer comprehensive wellness benefits including Talkspace and care.com access, plus LEARN Perks discounts. There are plenty of promotional and leadership opportunities available, and we foster a diverse and inclusive workplace through DEI, Neurodiversity, and other specialty groups.
AST/LEARN Behavioral is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Applicants must be presently eligible to work in the U.S.
