Job Description

Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Evaluate speech, language, and swallowing disorders in clients.
2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
3. Provide therapy sessions to clients to improve their communication skills.
4. Work collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
5. Document progress and update treatment plans as needed.
6. Stay updated on advancements in the field of speech therapy.
7. Advocate for clients' communication needs in various settings.
8. Provide education and training to clients and their families on communication strategies.
9. Conduct group therapy sessions as needed.
10. Attend continuing education courses to maintain licensure and professional development.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
2. Current state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
3. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
4. Experience working with a diverse population and clients of all ages.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
7. Knowledge of relevant assessment tools and therapy techniques.
8. Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
9. Empathy and patience when working with clients.
10. Commitment to ongoing professional development.
