Responsibilities:
Evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.
Work with clients to develop tailored treatment plans that match their requirements, goals, and preferences.
Use evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
Clients and families should be educated and supported on mood disorders, treatment alternatives, and self-care practices.
Client progress is monitored and tracked, and treatment plans are adjusted as appropriate.
For integrated care, work together with psychiatrists and other medical specialists.
Keep up to date with mood disorder research and advances to help improve treatment strategies.
Maintain accurate, private paperwork in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.
Take part in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Client advocacy includes advocating for mental health stigmatization and meeting their needs.
Qualifications:
Must have a current and active state license: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy
Develop a secure and trusted therapy relationship with clients by demonstrating great communication and interpersonal skills.
Empathy, sympathy, and a nonjudgmental attitude toward clients' experiences and struggles are required.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities are required to ensure effective workload management and administrative chores.
Compensation and Benefits:
$100,000 - $120,000 annually for a FULL-TIME position based on qualifications and experience.
