Job Description

All job duties are performed under supervision and guidance by a BCBA.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide clinic-based ABA services to EBH patients as assigned
• Abide by the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts
• Supervise implementation of treatment to ensure satisfactory implementation of protocols
• Maintain BCaBA certification by acquiring continuing education in BACB required categories
• Obtain and maintain state licensure
• Maintain requirements and training to provide supervision to RBT level staff, as well as provide supervisory experience to those pursuing certifications as applicable
• Conduct initial and follow-up assessments and parent questionnaires
• Develop and write individualized behavior acquisition programs for clients
• Conduct descriptive and functional analyses as part of functional assessments
• Write behavior intervention plans for behavior reduction targets for clients
• Develop and write initial treatment plans in accordance with best practice and insurance guidelines
• Update client treatment plans as required by insurance companies and clinical best practice
• Implement and supervise data collection systems
• Provide behavioral support for clients in an interdisciplinary treatment setting
• Graph and interpret behavioral data
• Adjust treatment protocol based on data
• Evaluate and report client progress toward treatment goals
• Monitor treatment integrity
• Develop and oversee transition and discharge plans
• Evaluate risk and crisis management
• Provide behavior support during interdisciplinary therapy sessions, doctors appointments, dentist visits, etc.
• Conduct individual parent/caregiver trainings on a monthly basis at minimum and group trainings as needed
• Conduct community education trainings as opportunities arise
• Provide school consultation and in-home support as needed
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ABA literature and attend conferences
• Attend ABA department meetings and interdisciplinary staff meetings
• Evaluate risk management and crisis management

Requirements for Education and Experience:
Education:
• Masters degree in Behavior Analysis or related field
• Board certification and in good standing as a BCaBA
• Must obtain and maintain current BCaBA licensure in Texas
Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years working with children with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities
