Qualifications

• •Master’s Degree
• •Minimum Work Experience
• •No previous experience
• •PA licensed in the state of Texas
• •BLS
• •Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
• •Knowledge of medical practices, terminology, and reimbursement policies
• •Thorough knowledge of patient triage, diagnosis, and evidenced-based care
• •Knowledge in overcoming barriers from diagnosis to treatment including: financial/economic, language/culture, transportation issues
• •Skill in planning, organizing, delegating, and supervising
• •Skill in evaluating the effectiveness of existing methods and procedures
• •Skill in problem solving
• •Skill in verbal and written communication
• •Skill in speaking engagements and other activities that raise awareness to diseases and disease processes
• •Ability to read, interpret, and apply policies and procedures
• •Ability to set priorities among multiple requests
• •Ability to interact with patients, medical and administrative staff, and the public effectively
