Responsibilities

As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will evaluate and provide expert speech-language therapy to patients in their homes, under the supervision of an attending physician. Settings may include single or multi-family homes, assisted living, independent living, or memory care facilities.

Your role will involve assessing and treating individuals with language impairments, motor speech disorders, dysphagia, cognitive communication issues, voice disorders, and those needing alternative or augmentative communication. You will work closely with patients who may have experienced strokes or those suffering from progressive conditions such as Parkinson's disease and dementia.

Qualifications
• Valid state driver's license
• Automobile liability insurance
• Seat belt usage is required while driving
• Reliable transportation that is well-maintained
• Ability to drive in various weather conditions
• Current SLP licensure in the state of employment
