Duties
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients’ mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Provide individual, group, or family therapy sessions utilizing evidence based therapeutic interventions.
• Maintain detailed, confidential documentation of client sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, coping strategies, and available community resources.
• Participate in case consultations and ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices and enhance therapeutic skills.

Qualifications
• Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related mental health field from an accredited institution.
• Active Iowa licensure such as LMSW, LISW, LMHC, or LMFT.
• Experience providing mental health therapy in clinical settings with diverse populations is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport and foster trust with clients.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards, confidentiality, and ongoing professional development.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience working with trauma-focused interventions and evidence-based practices is a plus
