About the position
At InBloom Autism Services, we strive to create an environment for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to learn and grow. Our dedicated ABA Professionals have the opportunity to do what they do best in a supportive team environment. We are hiring both new Behavior Therapist (BTs) as well as experienced Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our diverse team. Alongside our amazing BCBAs, you will implement top tier behavior therapy programs through 1:1 therapy, data collection, and teamwork. Responsibilities
• Provide one-on-one therapy to clients in various settings including our Centers, homes and/or schools.
• Follow the behavior intervention plans designed by BCBAs to address specific behavioral goals and objectives for each client.
• Accurately collect and record data on client behaviors and responses during therapy sessions, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
• Collaborate with the supervising BCBAs to track and report client progress towards behavioral goals and adjust intervention plans as needed.
• Utilize approved behavior reduction techniques and strategies as outlined in the behavior intervention plan to address challenging behaviors.
• Assist clients in acquiring and developing functional skills, communication abilities, and appropriate social behaviors.
• Provide training and support to parents/caregivers on implementing behavior intervention techniques and strategies in the home environment.
• Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards in behavior analysis while maintaining client confidentiality.
• Complete required paperwork, progress reports, and session notes.
• Maintain open communication with the BCBAs, parents/caregivers, and other team members involved in the client's treatment.
Requirements
• Passion for working with children and helping others.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must meet all BACB eligibility requirements to obtain RBT certification.
• Ability to pass the required RBT certification exam within the training period.
• Must obtain and maintain required RBT certification through the BACB.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
