Position- Special Education Teacher- ASD
Location- Robert Asp Elementary School
Grades-K-4
The Licensed Special Education Teacher develops and provides specialized instruction to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities; evaluates and assesses student progress against instructional objectives; and functions as IEP Manager to assigned students.
• Identifies and prioritizes areas of the general education curriculum & accommodations for students needing specialized instruction.
• Administers assessment to support instruction
• Follows due process requirements
Education and Experience:
Current Minnesota teaching license required in Special Education in the assigned area of responsibility and/or the ability to obtain.
