Responsibilities
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by a BCBA
• Provide one-on-one therapy in home, clinic, school, or community settings
• Collect accurate data on client progress
• Assist clients in developing communication, social, daily living, and coping skills
• Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
• Collaborate with supervisors, families, and team members
• Participate in ongoing training and team meetings
Preferred Experience

• Special Needs Teacher
• Special Education Teacher
• Paraprofessional
• Teacher or Teacher Assistant
• Daycare Worker or Childcare Provider
• ABA Therapist or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
• Direct Support Professional (DSP)
• Youth Counselor
• Early Intervention Specialist
Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental disabilities, or behavioral challenges is highly valued.
Qualifications
• High school diploma required (Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, or related field preferred)
• Experience working with children or individuals with special needs preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain patient, professional, and compassionate
• Reliable transportation (if required for travel)
• Ability to pass background check
• RBT certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire)
