Qualifications

  • •Bachelor's Degree in Scientific or Health Services discipline
  • •3 years of Clinical research experience in a healthcare with 1 year (in house) experience in Oncology clincial trials
  • •3 years of Microsoft Office experience
  • •1 year of experience with medical terminology
  • •1 year of experience in electronic data capture systems and electronic medical records systems

Responsibilities

  • •The Lead Research Coordinator will function under the supervision of the Nurse Manager, coordinating and maintaining diverse activities related to clinical research studies
  • •This includes but is not limited to clinical trial portfolio management, pre-study communication coordination, new staff training, patient screening, confirming eligibility, registration, quality control of data compilation and submission, study evaluation, as well as direct patient care
  • •Interacts closely with institutional investigators and industry sponsors
  • •Collaborates with the Research Committee throughout study through completion for treatment and complex trials
  • •Must uphold the standards of confidentiality, attendance and punctuality
  • •Performs all duties in a manner which promotes team concept and reflects the sisters of Providence mission and philosophy
