Location: Colchester, VT
Hours: 37.5 per week
Caseload Age Group: Elementary
Caseload Size: 40-80 students
Duration: Maternity leave coverage, mid-April through the end of June
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to elementary students
• Assess and monitor communication skills, adapting interventions as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
• Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with school policies and regulations
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
Qualifications and Experience:
• Valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Experience working with elementary-aged children in educational settings
• Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorder treatment strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and school staff
• Ability to manage a caseload of up to 80 students while maintaining high-quality care
