• Contract length: School Year

Key Duties
• Work closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement individualized behavior intervention plans
• Provide one-on-one or small group instruction and support for students with behavioral needs
• Collect and document data regarding student progress and behavioral outcomes
• Communicate observations and progress with supervisory staff and educational team members
• Support the integration of students into classroom activities and foster a positive, inclusive environment
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skillset

Requirements

Education
• High School Diploma or equivalent – required

Licenses & Certifications

Experience:
• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) - required
• 2+ years experience providing ABA-based behavioral support to children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities
• Ability to follow prescribed behavior intervention plans and accurately record data
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Reliable, organized, and adaptable in dynamic situations

Skills
• Experience working with children with special needs, e.g., autism or developmental delays
• Ability to follow instructional guidance and to follow ABA programs
• Ability to interact well with children, families, and colleagues
• Ability to work collaboratively as a therapy team member
• Ability to work well independently and seek assistance when needed
• Possess strong attention to detail for data collection
• Organized, flexible and willing to take constructive feedback and apply it to improve the quality of programming and one’s own professional development
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
• Able to maintain client confidentiality
• Technologically adept
• Ability to lift, push, pull children up to 40 pounds, and able to complete the physical demands of the job (frequent sitting and standing, sitting on, and getting up from the floor, kneeling, bending, and running with children)
