Job Description

ll be involved in a variety of orthopedic surgery projects, working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

As an MD or DO in Orthopedic Surgery, your role is essential in ensuring the well-being of patients with orthopedic issues. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by utilizing your medical knowledge and surgical skills to address a wide range of musculoskeletal problems. Responsibilities:
• Conduct patient consultations to assess musculoskeletal conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, MRI scans, and blood work.
• Develop treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs.
• Perform orthopedic surgeries including joint replacements, arthroscopic procedures, and fracture repairs.
• Monitor post-operative progress and provide follow-up care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in orthopedic surgery and treatment modalities.
• Ensure compliance with medical laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

Requirements:
• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Valid state medical license to practice as an Orthopedic Surgeon.
• Excellent surgical skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Schedule: 2 clinic days and 1-1.5 OR days per week

1:6 call rotation

Caseload: 80-85% hip and knee replacements, remainder is general orthopedics

Some opportunities to teach PAs, PTs, and residents

Support Staff: 5-8 surgeons and subspecialty support, PAs, PTs

Must be board-certified
