Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Texas license as a speech-language pathologist granted by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).
• Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (preferred).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in the effective use of technology.
• Able to instruct students and manage their behavior effectively.

Role Overview:

As an SLP, you will develop and implement individualized education/treatment programs for students with communication challenges caused by developmental differences, disabilities, or injuries. This rewarding position allows you to work with young learners in a supportive school environment, making a lasting impact on their development.

Job Details:
• Position dates: ASAP - May 30th.
• This role focuses solely on therapy with students; no ARD or evaluations.
• You will float between a few schools all within a reasonable distance in the Spring Branch area.

Key Responsibilities:
• Compile, maintain, and file all physical and computerized reports, records, and documents as required, including case records, test results, statistical data, and test inventories.
• Ensure compliance with policies established by federal and state law, State Board of Education rules, and local board policies in areas such as psychological services, assessment, placement, and planning for special education services.
• Adhere to district and local campus routines and regulations.
• Supervise SLP assistants or interns pursuant to district procedures, in line with Texas Board of Examiners in Speech Language Pathology and American Speech Language Hearing Association guidelines.
