Job Description

About the Job
Seeking a calm, patient caregiver for my 6-year-old son. He is bright, affectionate, loves being outdoors, chalk, art, music, and sensory activities.

He is autistic and currently experiences significant anxiety, so this role is less about traditional childcare and more about providing consistent support, engagement, and co-regulation. Experience with autism, special education, ABA, behavioral support, or therapeutic childcare is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities include:
• Engaging in play and activities
• Supporting transitions and emotional regulation
• Supervising outdoor play
• Maintaining a calm but engaging environment

Current or former RBTs, special education aides, psychology students, OT students, speech pathology students, and therapeutic caregivers are strongly encouraged to apply.

Looking for help every Monday and Tuesday, and every other weekend. Hours are somewhat flexible.

$35–45/hour depending on experience and background.
