Conduct individual and group therapy sessions with patients to address their mental health concerns and develop treatment plans
Build and maintain a strong rapport with patients to create a safe and supportive therapeutic environment
Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to determine the appropriate course of treatment for each patient
Collaborate with other members of the treatment team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients
Stay up-to-date on current research, best practices, and evidence-based interventions to continually improve therapy services
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and other necessary records
Provide crisis intervention and support to patients in acute distress
Advocate for patients and their mental health needs within the healthcare system and the community
Participate in team meetings, supervision, and continuing education opportunities to enhance professional growth and development
Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of job duties and responsibilities.
