CHILD DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM Grow With Me – Creciendo Juntos serves children 0-6 years old for families in the Tri-Counties region of California, currently offering services in the Santa Barbara & San Luis Obispo Counties. Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
Santa Maria, CA | Part-Time (20 hrs/week) | Home & Clinic-Based | $30–$45/hour

Responsibilities
• Provide direct treatment to infants and toddlers with developmental delays using evidence-based, play-based therapeutic techniques
• Conduct developmental assessments and assist in designing individualized treatment plans under the supervision of an SLP
• Deliver parent coaching and home programs to support carryover of therapeutic goals
• Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, Regional Center service coordinators, and other members of the child’s interdisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including session notes, IFSP progress, and biannual reports
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, privacy standards, and program policies at all times
Schedule
• Part-time — approximately 20 hours per week
• Home & clinic-based services in Santa Maria, CA
• Monday through Friday (flexible daytime and early evening hours — you build your schedule with families)
Compensation
• $30–$45 per hour, based on experience, education, and bilingual skills
Required Qualifications
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
• Active, unrestricted California SLPA license
• Minimum of 1 year pediatric experience, preferably in Early Intervention
• Working knowledge of Early Start, Regional Center services, and common developmental delays
• Understanding of transdisciplinary early intervention models and rehabilitation practices
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software
Other Requirements
• Reliable transportation
• Valid California Driver’s License (and insurance/registration if driving)
• Successful completion of background check and pre-employment physical
