Job Description
small-group therapy sessions to implement goals established by the Supervising SLP, focusing on Junior High social-pragmatics and language comprehension.
• Provide consistent services for approximately 33 students, ensuring all therapy minutes are met according to IEP requirements.
• Maintain daily session notes, track data on student progress, and assist in the preparation of reports for IEP meetings.
• Partner with the Supervising SLP and classroom teachers to integrate speech goals into the daily academic environment and modify age-appropriate therapeutic materials to meet student needs.
Qualifications:
• Associate’s Degree from a Board-approved SLPA program or Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid California Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) License/Credential (Required)
• Prior experience in a school setting or with junior high-aged populations (Preferred)
