Job Description

Job Overview:

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our growing team! In this role, you will work directly with children with autism and other developmental disabilities, implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support their growth and development. Your work will play a key role in making a meaningful impact on the lives of children and their families. Responsibilities:
• Implement individualized treatment plans under the direct supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA®), ensuring adherence to the BACB guidelines and Arkansas state regulations.
• Provide direct, one-on-one therapy using ABA techniques, ensuring that all practices are in line with ethical guidelines outlined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board® (BACB®) and Arkansas regulations on therapeutic practices.
• Collect data on client progress and behavior during therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with the BCBA® to develop and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Monitor and document client progress, including behavioral changes and skill acquisition.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients during therapy sessions.
• Ensure compliance with confidentiality laws, including HIPAA, to protect the privacy of all clients.
• Adhere to all regulatory and ethical guidelines set forth by the BACB® and Arkansas state laws, including reporting requirements for any instances of abuse or neglect.

Skills:
• Prior experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with ABA techniques and a willingness to undergo ongoing training to stay updated on ethical standards set by the BACB®.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and work within a collaborative team setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients, families, and team members.
• Knowledge of and adherence to the BACB® Professional and Ethical Compliance Code.
• Candidates must have or be willing to pursue certification as a Registered Behavior Technician® (RBT®) within six months of employment, if applicable.
• Ability to consistently follow ethical guidelines as outlined by the BACB®, including but not limited to maintaining client confidentiality, avoiding dual relationships, and providing services solely in the best interests of clients.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have or be willing to pursue certification as an RBT® within six months of employment.
• Must be comfortable working with children and able to implement ABA therapy consistently.
