Job Description

mprehensive speech, language and communication evaluations for adults with IDD
• Perform AAC assessments, including feature matching, device trials and system selection
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting functional communication goals
• Train staff, caregivers, and family members on AAC systems and communication strategies
• Provide direct therapy services in individual and group formats
• Support individuals with feeding and swallowing needs as appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Speech/Language Pathology
  • New York State License as a Speech/Language Pathologist
  • Experience working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities
