About Us

Infinity ABA, LLC is a Florida-based agency serving children and adolescents with special needs, primarily those on the autism spectrum. We are seeking a qualified part-time tutor to provide instructional support to homeschooled students.

Position Summary

The tutor will provide teaching and instructional support to homeschooled children and adolescents on a part-time basis. This is a W2 employee position with flexible scheduling of 15 to 35 hours per week.

Responsibilities
• Provide individualized academic instruction to homeschooled students with special needs
• Adapt teaching methods to each student's learning profile and abilities
• Track and document student progress
• Conduct the annual homeschool evaluation required under Florida law, including review of the student's portfolio and a discussion with the student to document educational progress (Florida Statute 1002.41)
• Coordinate with families and agency staff to support learning goals

Required Qualifications

Candidates must hold at least one of the following credentials:
• A valid Florida educator's certificate, adjunct teaching certificate, or a valid professional standard teaching certificate from another state
• A valid Statement of Status of Eligibility (SOE) indicating eligibility for a Professional Certificate
• A bachelor's or graduate degree in the subject area of instruction
• An official FTCE score report (within the last 10 years) showing a passing score on a Florida subject area exam
• Certification from a nationally or internationally recognized research-based training program approved by the department (for example, Barton Reading & Spelling System, Orton-Gillingham, Wilson Reading System, MACTE, PCET, or ALTA)
• A valid certificate from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS) or the American Board for Certification of Teacher Excellence (ABCTE)

Preferred Qualifications
• Ability and willingness to serve as the certified evaluator for the student's annual homeschool evaluation under Florida law
• Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder or other special needs
• Experience in a homeschool or one-on-one instructional setting

Compensation and Schedule
• Hourly rate: $24 to $27, commensurate with credentials and experience
• W2 employee of Infinity ABA, LLC
• 15 to 35 hours per week
