Colorado's behavioral health sector added 213 providers in the latest national registry update, accounting for 2% of the weekly total. This group includes 171 individuals and 42 organizations, signaling consistent growth in the state's workforce, with hubs of activity in Colorado Springs, Denver, and Aurora.

ABA Credential Mix

Among the new providers, the data shows a strong pipeline for ABA services, with 62 Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and 10 Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). The registry also captured 3 providers holding dual BCBA and RBT credentials, a common indicator of career progression from direct care to supervision. This cohort's ratio of roughly six RBTs per BCBA suggests a healthy capacity for clinical supervision. It is important to note that credential and taxonomy counts can overlap; 49 providers in this update listed multiple taxonomies.

Workforce Demographics

The new individual providers are predominantly female, with 135 women comprising 79% of the group. Men accounted for 15% and nonbinary individuals for 6%. On the organizational side, Cross Purpose added four new provider records, while Colorado Autism Consultants, a familiar name in the state's ABA community, also appeared twice.

This influx of RBTs, supported by a solid supervisory ratio, points to an expansion of direct ABA service capacity across Colorado.
