Position: Behavior Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Position Overview
Florida Autism Center, part of the Blue Sprig family, is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Behavior Technician (BT) to provide high‑quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism spectrum disorders.
Responsibilities
• Provide ABA therapy in center‑based and/or home‑based settings.
• Teach communication, social, behavioral, and self‑help skills to children.
• Work one‑on‑one or in small group settings with clients.
• Collect and record data to track client progress.
• Provide written and verbal updates regarding treatment goals and progress.
• Collaborate with families, supervisors, and team members.
• Attend trainings, meetings, and workshops for continued professional development.
• Follow all company policies, confidentiality requirements, and mandated reporting standards.
Qualifications
• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable sitting, standing, crouching, and getting on/off the floor frequently.
• Passion for helping children and families.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Must obtain a Florida driver’s license before the end of training.
• Fingerprinting for Florida Medicaid is required.
