Job Overview:
The clinical coordinator performs routine clinical and clerical tasks under the direction of a physician or other health practitioner,
Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs, medical histories, preparing patients for examination, and assisting with minor procedures as directed by a physician or health practitioner
Qualifications:
Required:
• High School Diploma or GED
• BLS Certification
• Medical Assistant Certification
• Proficient knowledge of medical terminology
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and work under pressure
• Strong written and oral communication skills essential
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association
Preferred:
• Previous CMA experience preferred
Essential Functions:
• The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for performance improvement activities including chart reviews, statistical analysis, and assigned studies.
• Reports results to Department Leadership, appropriate committees and PI Dashboards.
• Assesses effectiveness of therapy and reports on device and interface selection, application, operational verification, modes of therapy, and all adverse reactions or side effects.
• Leads educational programs for staff as requested.
• Develops programs specific to orienting new staff members and other assigned areas of responsibility.
• Fulfills the role of staff and charge CMA as needed.

- •Pay Range: $24.38 - $29.26 per hour
- •The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey
