Job Description
Preschool Teacher (Prep 360)
Autism 360 | Gastonia Center
Autism 360 was never built to be the biggest — it was built to be different.
Our focus has always been simple: deliver exceptional, individualized care that truly changes outcomes for children and families. That philosophy comes to life in Prep 360, our education program that blends high-quality early childhood education with the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
We are currently seeking a Preschool Teacher to join our team and play a key role in shaping a learning environment designed with intention, support, and impact at its core.
Why This Role Stands Out
This is not a traditional preschool classroom.
As a Prep 360 teacher, you will lead a classroom where:
• Education and clinical support work hand-in-hand
• Each child receives individualized support, including a dedicated Behavior Technician
• A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) partners with you to support learning and behavior strategies
• Small class sizes allow for meaningful, focused instruction
• Students (ages 3–6) are prepared for successful transitions into more traditional school settings
You are not working in isolation — you are part of a highly collaborative, interdisciplinary team, with the tools and support to do your best work.
What You’ll Do
• Lead a structured, engaging preschool classroom focused on early learning and development
• Implement a research-based curriculum while adapting to individual learner needs
• Create a safe, consistent, and nurturing classroom environment
• Establish routines that balance instruction, play, and developmental growth
• Collaborate closely with BCBAs, therapists, and support staff to align on student goals
• Communicate regularly with families regarding progress and development
• Take ownership of your classroom, treating it as your own
What We’re Looking For
• Experience in early childhood education, preschool teaching, or a related field
• A genuine interest in working with children with autism and diverse learning needs
• Strong classroom leadership and the ability to guide support staff effectively
• A proactive, organized, and solutions-oriented mindset
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with families and team members
• A patient, positive, and adaptable approach to teaching
Compensation & Benefits
• Salary range: $38,000 – $42,000, based on experience
• Consistent schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Includes dedicated lesson planning time and a paid daily lunch hour
• Generous paid time off (up to 21 days annually, including holidays)
• Comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, and additional perks
• 401(k) plan
• Company-issued laptop and communication tools
• Access to nationally recognized curriculum resources
• Employee referral bonus program
A Collaborative, Supportive Environment
At Autism 360, you are part of a team.
You will work alongside:
• BCBAs
• Speech-Language Pathologists
• Occupational Therapists
• Behavior Technicians
Teachers collaborate regularly with clinical leadership to ensure each learner is supported both academically and behaviorally. Every student receives consistent 1:1 support, allowing you to focus on instruction while knowing your classroom is fully supported.
If you are looking for a role where you can lead, collaborate, and make a meaningful impact in a thoughtfully designed classroom — we encourage you to apply.
About Autism 360
Autism 360 takes a comprehensive approach to care, focusing on the whole child — not just a diagnosis. We are committed to building programs that are thoughtful, innovative, and grounded in quality.
We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all team members.
