Location: Blue Springs, MO
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Contract Dates:
• Initial leave coverage starting between May 6 and May 13 through May 22 (end of school year)
• Extended Summer ESY services from June 1 to June 30 (note: June 19 off for holiday)
• Additional coverage at the start of the 2026–27 school year in August (exact calendar TBD)
Work Setting: Onsite in a school environment
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments and interventions tailored to student needs
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student communication goals
• Maintain detailed documentation and IEP compliance in accordance with district protocols
• Deliver direct therapy services to elementary-aged students demonstrating high needs
• Participate in team meetings and professional development activities as required
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
• Valid SLP certification with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Proven experience working within school settings, specifically with elementary students
• Skilled in developing individualized education plans (IEPs) and managing caseloads efficiently
• Ability to work onsite and adapt quickly to changing schedules and student needs
