Job Description
Individualized Education Program (IEP) and the unique needs of the family.
Responsibilities
• Work directly with parents/guardians to provide targeted behavior support strategies.
• Deliver support tailored to the specific needs of the family and home environment.
• Conduct sessions that may include review of strategies, modeling techniques, and providing guidance for consistent implementation.
• Follow a plan based on IEP goals and the individualized needs of the student.
• Fulfill mandates outlined in the IEP as determined by the CSE (Committee on Special Education) team.
• Maintain clear, objective documentation after each session to record progress and recommendations.
• Collaborate with families, school teams, and supervisors to ensure a unified approach to student support.
• Complete detailed, objective session notes after each session documenting student progress toward IEP goals and behavior plan targets.
Qualifications
Master's degree in one of the following:
• Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
• Special Education + ABA Work Experience
• Psychology + ABA Work Experience
• Masters Social Work (LMSW or LCSW) + ABA Work Experience

• Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities and their families preferred.
• Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with ABA principles or behavioral intervention strategies is a plus.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

• Flexible scheduling based on family needs. Primarily after school hours.
• Services may take place in school, home, or virtual settings as determined by the IEP.
