Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Charlotte, NC. As a Registered Behavior Technician , you will play a crucial role in implementing individualized therapy programs designed by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Your primary responsibility will be to work directly with children diagnosed with autism, providing support and guidance to help them develop essential skills and achieve their goals.
Responsibilities:
• Implement individualized therapy programs under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Work one-on-one with children diagnosed with autism to facilitate skill development.
• Utilize ABA techniques and strategies to teach communication, social, and behavioral skills.
• Document and track progress towards treatment goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with other team members, including BCBAs and parents, to ensure consistency and effectiveness of therapy plans.
• Maintain a positive and supportive environment for children and their families.
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all interactions and responsibilities.
Requirements:
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification.
• Experience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is required.
• Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, compassion, and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of children with autism.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
