Job Description

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver ABA therapy in-person or via telehealth as directed by BCBA/BCaBA
• Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
• Record accurate and detailed data on client behavior and skill acquisition
• Assist with functional behavior assessments and skill assessments
• Follow all clinical protocols, safety procedures, and ethical guidelines
• Participate in team meetings, clinical trainings, and supervision sessions
• Communicate professionally with families, caregivers, and team members
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements
• Support clients in home, clinic, school, and community environments as assigned
• Promote a positive and encouraging therapeutic environment

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred)
• Active RBT certification from BACB or willingness to obtain certification
• Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow instruction and work collaboratively under supervision
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client locations as needed
• Ability to pass background check and maintain CPR/First Aid certification

Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Ability to bend, kneel, and engage in physical play or floor-based activities
• Ability to remain active and alert throughout sessions

Work Environment
• Home, school, clinic, and community settings
• Variable schedule based on client needs (may include evenings/weekends)

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides direct one-on-one and small-group Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)
  • The RBT implements treatment plans designed to teach communication, social, adaptive, and behavioral skills to help clients achieve meaningful outcomes
