Job Description
ecialized experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems. The position is contract-based and expects availability for two days per week, offering a balanced schedule while contributing meaningfully to student communication development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with other speech therapists to support students' communication needs.
• Implement and manage AAC strategies tailored to individual student requirements.
• Conduct evaluations and assist in creating individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary.
• Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with school policies and regulatory standards.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
• Valid certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Proven experience working in school environments.
• Demonstrated expertise with AAC devices and techniques.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexibility to work two days weekly in Trenton, NJ.
