Job Description
u will provide regularly scheduled counseling services and support a caseload aligned with your clinical specialty, helping clients work toward individualized treatment plan goals.
ACT services are delivered directly in the community—client homes, places of employment, and other local settings—to support recovery, independence, and long-term stability. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centered, evidence-based care while helping clients remain integrated with their families, friends, and communities.
This position includes client transportation using a company vehicle as needed and participation in a rotating on-call schedule (one week every 7–10 weeks). On-call support is handled virtually or in person and earns additional paid time off.
Responsibilities
• Provide individual counseling services to adults with severe mental illness
• Support a clinical caseload aligned with licensure and specialty
• Engage clients through active listening, strengths identification, and therapeutic interventions
• Teach coping skills and support recovery-oriented treatment goals
• Deliver services primarily in community-based settings, with some office-based work
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary ACT team members, including nurses, psychiatrists, and case managers
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, earning additional PTO
• Provide client transportation using a company vehicle as needed
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
Requirements
• Active Louisiana licensure in good standing as one of the following:
– LMSW
– LCSW
– PLPC
– LPC
– LPC-S
– LMFT
• Valid State Driver’s License in good standing
