Job Description

l outcomes. This position reports directly to the Associate Dean for Accreditation, CQI, and Strategic Planning as a member of the Office of Academic Affairs.

Key Responsibilities

Data Management and Reporting
• Develop, maintain, and manage comprehensive datasets related to medical education program performance.
• Create interactive dashboards and visualizations to support decision-making, CQI initiatives, and accreditation compliance.
• Collect, organize, and manage data from multiple systems, including One45, ExamSoft, Canvas, and institutional databases.
• Ensure prompt and accurate data entry, collection, and documentation for assessment and grading systems.
• Extract, aggregate, and analyze data using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.

Assessment and Evaluation
• Collaborate with the Office of Academic Affairs on the design, implementation, and reporting of student, faculty, course/clerkship, and program evaluation surveys.
• Monitor and report on student performance and program outcomes for longitudinal analysis.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of a comprehensive assessment plan for the medical education program.
• Support educational research projects related to assessment, program effectiveness, and student success.
• Provide data and analysis to inform student support interventions and faculty development initiatives.

Accreditation and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI)
• Maintain datasets and reports that support LCME accreditation requirements and curriculum and program evaluation.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to collect and analyze data for accreditation documents and CQI projects.
• Provide timely and accurate reporting to leadership, committees, and other stakeholders.
• Assist with the preparation of accreditation documents.

Other Duties
• Participate in committees and working groups related to curriculum, assessment, and accreditation.
• Assist with special events and workshops, such as orientation, white coat ceremony, commencement, and various student, faculty, and staff events/workshops.
• Comply with Methodist University, and MU CFVH’s policies and regulations, such as Title IX, and Information Security, including but not limited to; HIPAA, FERPA and other state and federal mandates.
• Track due dates of special projects to ensure timely responses and completion.
• Assist with special projects and provide needed materials to and for other departments.
• Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned or modified at any time, with or without prior notice.

Required
• Proficiency in data analysis, data management, and database reporting tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, VLOOKUP) and experience with visualization tools such as Power BI or other similar reporting tools.
• Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills.
• Written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Commitment to confidentiality and data security.

Preferred:
• Experience in medical or higher education assessment, evaluation, or data analysis is preferred.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with learning management and assessment systems (One45, ExamSoft, Canvas) is preferred.
