Responsibilities
• Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Collect data on client behavior during sessions
• Assist in the development and implementation of care plans
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
• Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to teach new skills and manage challenging behaviors
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective care coordination
Skills
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical records
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be at least 18 years of age
