Job Description
s. These per diem, as-needed positions offer flexible shifts based on school coverage needs, allowing you to make a meaningful impact while accommodating your schedule.
Position Responsibilities:
• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students within the classroom
• Deliver 1:1 or small-group assistance as directed by teachers and staff
• Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as applicable
• Support student mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
Required Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Completion of TB test as per district requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain prior to starting work
Preferred Experience:
• Background in school settings, special education, behavioral health, or childcare
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention), PMT, or RBT certification is a plus but not required
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative work style
