Job Description
Autism Behavior Support is seeking a reliable, organized, and motivated Office Assistant who is eager to learn and become a valuable member of our team. Availability to work Saturdays is required.
Position Summary
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide administrative and operational support to staff members while helping ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of the office. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with clients, families, and team members.
Responsibilities
• Monitor and respond to company emails in a timely manner.
• Greet clients and assist with check-in for office appointments.
• Assist with temperature checks for staff and clients when needed.
• Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately.
• Maintain accurate client and staff schedules across multiple scheduling platforms.
• Ensure all schedule updates and changes are reflected correctly in both systems.
• Communicate scheduling changes and updates to clients, families, and staff members.
• Fax, email, and organize documents as needed.
• Maintain a professional, positive, and courteous attitude at all times.
• Provide general administrative support and perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and other office software.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• High level of attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Experience with scheduling and calendar management.
• Familiarity with the ABA field or a related healthcare environment.
• Previous office administration experience.
