Job Description

Captain Paine Elementary School is seeking a qualified and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide contracted, as‑needed behavioral support services. The BCBA will work collaboratively with school staff, students, and families to support positive behavioral outcomes and ensure compliance with individualized education plans (IEPs).
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) as needed
• Develop, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Provide consultation, training, and guidance to teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
• Analyze behavioral data and adjust interventions accordingly
• Support staff training on behavior management strategies and best practices
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations based on student needs
• Ensure services align with state, federal, and ethical guidelines

Position Type: Part‑time
Job Requirements
• Qualifications:
• Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
• Experience working in school settings, preferably elementary level
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Experience with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (preferred)
• Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
• Master's degree preferred
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required
Schedule & Compensation

Services will be provided on an as‑needed basis, depending on student and program needs. Flexible scheduling during school hours.
