Job Description
- Friday. There is possibility to grow into a full time role as more sessions become available.
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). If you are not yet certified as an RBT, we can help you get there! In this role, you will provide one-on-one in-home ABA therapy to children and adults with autism, working closely with a behavior analyst to implement personalized treatment plans. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of our clients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
• Implement individualized treatment programs designed by a behavior analyst
• Use ABA techniques promote skill acquisition and behavior reduction
• Collect and record data on client progress
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members
• Attend regular training and supervision sessions
• Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines
• Work in client homes
• Possible hygiene and toileting
• Possible physical intervention that follow SOAR guidelines for client safety
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Must complete the 40-hour RBT training program (provided by Nova Supports)
• Pass the RBT competency assessment and obtain RBT certification within the designated timeframe
• Reliable transportation to client homes
• Ability to pass a background check
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about working with individuals with autism
