Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Marriage/Couple Counselor located in Ashland, KY. The Marriage/Couple Counselor will provide professional counseling services to couples & individuals, helping them address relationship conflicts, improve communication, and foster stronger connections. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, facilitating therapy sessions, and maintaining detailed client records. In addition, the counselor will collaborate with a team of professionals to support clients' overall mental health and relationship goals.

Qualifications
• Experiance or willingness to be trained in providing marriage and couple counseling, conflict resolution, and relationship-building strategies
• Strong communication, active listening, and therapeutic techniques
• Experience in developing and implementing tailored treatment plans
• Knowledge of ethical guidelines, confidentiality standards, and mental health best practices
• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
• Licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent credential, or eligibility to obtain licensure in the state of Kentucky
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
• Ability to work within a collaborative and supportive team environment
• Experience in multicultural or diverse therapeutic settings is beneficial
