Develop and implement statistical analysis plans for research studies and clinical trials.
Oversee and guide the work of a team of biostatisticians, providing leadership and direction to ensure high quality and timely completion of projects.
Collaborate with researchers and clinicians to identify and define research questions and study objectives.
Conduct advanced statistical analyses, including but not limited to, regression models, survival analysis, and meta-analyses.
Interpret and communicate study results in a clear and concise manner to non-statistical colleagues and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards in all statistical analyses.
Continuously evaluate and improve statistical methods and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Develop and maintain relationships with external research partners and funding agencies.
Train and mentor junior biostatisticians to support their professional growth and development.
Stay current with advancements and developments in the field of biostatistics and apply new techniques and methodologies to improve study design and analysis.
Participate in the development and review of research protocols and grant proposals.
Collaborate with other departments and teams within the organization to support the overall research objectives and goals.
Ensure data integrity and quality control measures are in place throughout the research process.
Provide guidance and expertise in the selection and use of appropriate statistical software.
Represent the organization at conferences, workshops, and other professional events.
