Job Description

Our care addresses a wide range of issues, from anxiety and depression to severe mental illnesses and end-of-life concerns. As part of a multidisciplinary team, our clinicians significantly impact residents' quality of life by solving problems, delivering excellent clinical care, and serving as a vital link in their care.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide Therapeutic Behavioral Services by consulting with a licensed clinician to meet individual needs.
• Develop service plans for supports or care coordination, including healthcare and behavioral health treatment plans.
• Implement linkage, interventions, treatment options, daily life skills restoration, and crisis prevention services.
• Deliver services to individual or group clients.
• Train support staff on client triggers, de-escalation techniques, and interventions as per treatment plans.
• Foster positive relationships with outside contacts.
• Meet with Resident Care Coordinators or designated staff to review resident and facility care needs, communicating findings or concerns.
• Maintain open communication with facility staff and administration, providing verbal or written feedback on treatment plans.
• Adhere to Eventus WholeHealth standards, policies, procedures, and all legal, regulatory, and ethical guidelines.
• Conduct oneself professionally at all times.
• Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and related regulations.
• Consult with the clinical supervisor on unfamiliar resident or facility requests regarding resident care.
Qualifications/Education:
Master’s degree in counseling or marriage and family therapy, with eligibility for licensure in the practicing state. Licensed Professional Counselors and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists are eligible.
Knowledge:
• Population-specific interventions and care following treatment plans.
• Regulations governing behavioral health practice.
• Organizational policies and procedures.
Skills:
• Data gathering and analysis of physiological, socioeconomic, behavioral, and emotional information.
• Training in social/emotional well-being, stress, and anger management, and life skills.
• Accurate evaluation of patient problems and appropriate intervention or referral.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• High initiative, judgment, and discretion.
• Building and maintaining effective working relationships.
Abilities:
• React calmly and effectively in emergencies.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members.
• Evaluate and recommend quality improvement measures.
• Handle confidential information responsibly.
