Job Description
About Success On The Spectrum
Success On The Spectrum (SOS) is a premier national Autism Treatment franchise deeply committed to clinical excellence. We provide comprehensive ABA, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Social Skills Classes across multiple environments, including our distinct nautical-themed learning centers, private homes, and schools. Because our play-based intervention model heavily emphasizes Natural Environment Teaching (NET), our teams take clients on monthly community field trips. We prioritize family engagement, offering an open viewing room where parents can observe therapy sessions live.
Work-Life Balance & Caseloads
At SOS, we actively protect our clinicians' work-life balance. Our BCBAs maintain a manageable maximum caseload of 10 to 12 full-time clients and receive dedicated support from a clinical intern. For our leadership team, caseloads are kept even lower—typically capped at 8 to 10 full-time clients. We foster an operational culture that discourages taking work home, allowing our team to maintain true boundaries.
Position Benefits
• Annual Salary: $75,000 to $85,000 per year, commensurate with professional experience.
• Health Support: Includes a monthly medical allowance of $200.
• Malpractice Protection: 100% company-sponsored Professional Liability Insurance.
• Continuing Education: Fully covered CEUs to support your ongoing learning.
• Required Credentials: Company-funded certifications for BLS/CPR and QBS Safety Care.
• Paid Time Off (PTO): 10 days of annual paid vacation plus 10 scheduled paid holidays throughout the year.
• Retirement Planning: 401(k) plan options available.
• Career Progression: Structured performance and compensation reviews conducted every 6 months.
• Operational Peace of Mind: All daily client scheduling is handled by our administrative team. SOS does not require non-compete agreements or training payback contracts.
Primary Responsibilities
Leadership & Quality Assurance
• Function as the center’s designated Quality Assurance Officer and Ethics Officer.
• Lead conflict resolution initiatives, oversee safety management protocols, and direct center incident responses.
• Audit and support the casework of fellow BCBAs to maintain high institutional standards.
• Participate in weekly BCBA alignment meetings, weekly staff syncs, and design targeted quarterly in-service professional development.
Clinical Case Management
• Administer and interpret standardized assessments, including VB-MAPP, AFLS, and Social Skills Solutions.
• Develop customized, evidence-based intervention plans tailored to individual client needs.
• Continually analyze client performance data and modify programming to maximize progress.
• Conduct weekly parent training sessions and deliver regular progress updates to caregivers.
• Oversee and mentor RBTs and interns across center-based and home-based environments, assisting with the onboarding of new team members.
• Manage insurance correspondence, including the submission of prior authorization requests and managing responses for provider audits.
• Share in routine center cleaning duties to ensure a safe, hygienic environment for clients and staff.
Job Schedule & Requirements
• Schedule: Full-time, on-site, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (includes a daily 1-hour lunch break).
• Training: Includes an initial comprehensive onboarding and orientation program (all travel and training costs are completely company-covered).
• Credential: Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential in good standing with the BACB.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical supervisory or leadership role within an ABA setting.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Physical Capacity: Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, sit comfortably on the floor, and actively engage in physical movement with clients throughout the day.
• Compliance: Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check.
Career Trajectory
We are built to support sustainable professional growth. As our organization expands, leadership track team members have opportunities to transition into full Clinical Director positions, guiding the quality of casework for the center. Furthermore, our national franchise model provides unique long-term flexibility, including options for geographic transfers if you ever relocate, or paths toward regional leadership.
